Craig Nighsonger Born: August 7, 1961 in Peru, Il Died: May 16, 2024 Putnam: Craig L. Nighsonger, 62, of Putnam, passed away suddenly, Thursday May 16, 2024, 6:25 pm at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the ARK, of Laon or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry, is in charge of arrangements. Craig was born August 7, 1961, in Peru, IL to William Raymond and Mary (Tuttle) Nighsonger. He married Michele Casey on October 3, 1992, in Granville, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mary Nighsonger, of Henry, his children, Adam and Blaine Nighsonger, both of Putnam, his siblings, Marjorie (Dan) Spangler, of Washburn, Jo Ann Michels, of Lacon, and Blake Nighsonger, of Henry. He also has many nieces and nephews, who he was very proud of and often attended their activities. His father, William, preceded him in death. C
