Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Dysart – Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Phil Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery, Granville with full military honors. Cremation rites have been accorded. George was born on November 9, 1937 in rural McNabb to George and Ethel (Kuhl) Yauch Sr. He married Pat Galiher on June 7, 1958. She passed away on April 1992. His second marriage was to Nancy (Linton) Schafer on October 16, 1993 in Granville. After graduating from high school he served in the United States Army as an electrician instructor.
