Peggy Lee Ritz, 71, of LaSalle passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 in her home. Cremation rites have been accorded per her request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
Peggy was born on July 8, 1953 in Peoria to George and Virginia Green. She married Daniel Ritz on March 6, 1993 at Hennepin United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Putnam County High School and later attended beauty school to become a hairdresser. She held many jobs throughout her life including working as a waitress at her mom's restaurant which she loved, running a daycare in her home, and working as a job coach at Horizon Industries. She loved the children she cared for in her daycare and the clients from her days at Horizon Industries. She would often bring clients to her home for a meal and to play card games.
